Cutter dimensions* and box recommendations:
3 in. x 1.4 in. : you can fit 2 crayon cookies in a 3.5 x 3.5 box (made to fit the Designer Cookies Mini Crayon box).
3.5 in. x 1.13 in.: you can fit 3 crayon cookies in a 4x4 box or 4 crayons in a 3 5/8 x 5 1/8 inch box (Recommended box: Clear Bags FPB63)
4.25 in. x 1.13 in.: you can fit 2 crayon cookies in a 3.63 x 5 in. box. (Recommended box: Clear Bags FB251).
5.1 in. x 1.13 in.: you can fit 4 crayon cookies in a 5.5 x 5.5 inch box (made to fit the Designer Cookies Regular Crayon box.)

Purchased this cutter along with the crayon box for packaging from another site - was just too cute to pass up. Pictures show 4 cookies in the box fit well. However, the cookie cutter is actually too narrow for 4 crayons in the box. My recipes don't expand, so i was quite disappointed that i have about a half inch gap in the box. Too small to fit 5 crayons, but too large for 4 crayons. I still used the cutter and it will do! But maybe add an 1/8 inch width to them to fit better? Still too cute.

This cookie cutter was actually designed specifically for this box, using the exact specifications provided by Designer Cookies—the maker of the box. The cookies shown in her photo were made with this cutter, in this exact size.
One thing to keep in mind is that most cookie recipes, even those labeled “no spread,” tend to spread just a little during baking—sometimes even just 1/8 of an inch. If your recipe truly doesn’t spread at all, your cookies may come out slightly smaller than expected compared to most people’s results.
It’s important to note that while our cookie cutters will always cut the same shape and size, how the cookie bakes can vary depending on the recipe, ingredients, and even the baking method used. Because of this, it’s impossible for us to guarantee that every recipe will yield the exact same finished cookie dimensions after baking.
But I can confirm that this cutter was made specifically to fit the box that Designer Cookies offers and is the exact one she used to make the cookies in the image and that it is the size that she recommends for these boxes.

I purchased the large crayon cookie cutter and have tried it just wince. The cookie cutter is great and so are the crayon boxes that correspond to it. Very happy with the cutter. Still need to work on quality of product but I see it being a good seller when I’ll post a product for sale
